Keeping It Together

We believe it is our way of #keepingittogether. After the destruction of the August 4th explosion, we chose not to renovate the space because we felt that we still need time to process the impact of what happened. Some of the pieces you see inside have been destroyed during the explosion. Others are objects that have been re-created out of the debris from our Studio space upstairs. We have used our craft techniques as a way of connecting the broken pieces. The Keepingittogether Bowl is created using the broken pieces of glass from the August 4 Beirut blast. We chose to recreate objects using our craft techniques as a way to transform our pain into hope.We believe it is our way of keepingittogether.
