At the Edge of Love

You & I Collection

Inspired by geometrical influences in design, this carpet is artistic and distinctive. Transitioning to green in a gradient from dusty beige, it merges with a pentagon at the end in interweaving diamond patterns. The floral motifs on the pentagon represent a mix and match of shape and color, craft and technique. A floral pattern adorns the entirety of the secondary section, with its own distinct colour tone, representing the blending of pattern and craft of two different cultures. Created as part of the You & I Collection in collaboration with FMBI, each carpet is a celebration of local know-how in harmony with global trends and the skilled carpet weavers of Afghanistan.
